Graffiti, Hall of Fame, Rheinpark Duisburg

, by Bart Van Kersavond

In 2009, as part of the German Skateboarding Championship, large-scale graffiti works were created in Duisburg’s Rheinpark. Internationally renowned artists such as Loomit, MadC, Kacao77, Soten, Take2, Towns, and Zombi, along with numerous locals, transformed several thousand square meters of wall space into impressive murals, some of which can still be seen today.

The Rheinpark remains a legal spot for painting and continues to be a vibrant part of the graffiti and street art scene in the Ruhr area.
