Im vertikalen Dialog. CREAM & KERSAVOND.
As part of Liquid Times
The exhibition brings together two artistic positions that reflect the urban space in distinct ways.
On view are photographs, drawings, a film, and direct on-site interventions that will complete the collaboration.
In a vertical dialogue, an interplay emerges between creative autonomy and a spirit of solidarity.
As part of the exhibition series “Liquid Times,” Cream and Kersavond jointly transform the real challenges of our time into a singular visual language.
With this exhibition, they invite visitors to reflect on collective and creative action.
How can we, together, respond constructively to the complex challenges of the present—with drive, humor, and integrity?
CREAM
CREAM is originally from Potsdam, where he first encountered graffiti culture in 1991.
Since then, he has continually explored the phenomenon of style writing on both aesthetic and conceptual levels.
In his creations, CREAM repeatedly tests the boundaries of the legible letter.
By distorting the five letters, distinctive compositions emerge—situated between abstract painting and imaginative letterforms.
He has lived and worked as a freelance artist in Berlin for more than 20 years.
Bart van Kersavond
Bart van Kersavond is a photographer with a particular eye for urban spaces, structures, and atmospheres.
In the early 2000s, he began documenting urban art and graffiti in Berlin—preferably at the very moments when public art is coming into being.
From this passion emerged the urban art blog UrbanPresents.net, which highlights the stories, places, and people of the scene.
Today, Bart lives and works in Cologne, combining his urban-art photography with minimalist city and architectural imagery—and a fascination for abandoned places.
