The exhibition presents works by international artists who deliberately move beyond traditional art forms. Postvandalism draws on the energy of non-conforming actions and transforms it into independent visual forms of expression.
The third edition of actsofpostvandalism focuses on the videographic strategies of this movement. What was long considered mere documentation in the urban context becomes an integral part of the artistic process. The camera not only makes the action visible, but intensifies its performative character.
The works are created exclusively through moving images. Nevertheless, the action itself remains the central element of postvandalistic art.
The exhibition opened on December 5 at 7:00 pm at the Off-Space Freibad at Worringer Platz. The opening took place in an intimate setting and in the presence of the participating artists.
