For its 10th anniversary, Unlock comes to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Völklinger Hütte — turning the Greater Region into the global hub for graffiti and subcultural art publishing.
Publishers, projects, and speakers from Europe, America and beyond gather for a full weekend of books and culture — this time in partnership with the long-established Urban Art Biennale.
The fair is presented by GRACE Project (Greater Region Artistic and Cultural Education), with a special focus on culture from Belgium, France, Germany, and Luxembourg.
Ten Years of Graffiti Books!
A decade of growth — for graffiti publishing, and for Unlock.
Since its first edition in Barcelona in 2016, Unlock has become the scene’s most anticipated annual gathering — for book lovers and publishers alike. It’s the premier specialised showcase and a hard deadline for projects reaching an international audience.
This 10th edition at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Völklinger Hütte celebrates what’s been built while looking ahead. As contemporary graffiti enters its seventh decade, Unlock gives it the institutional setting it deserves.
