The Urban Art Biennale at the V\u00f6lklingen Ironworks<\/a>, a World Heritage Site, is one of the world’s largest exhibitions of this idiosyncratic art form, which moves beyond the traditional white cube aesthetic. Since 2011, the entire grounds of the V\u00f6lklingen Ironworks have been transformed every two years into an ideal partner for dialogue with art that has emerged from street art and graffiti. In 2024, the focus will be on participatory urban art projects in addition to political in-situ works. New this year, the burner stage on the top floor of the sintering plant will also be an integral part of the extensive parcours.<\/p>\n
