Street Art Graffiti 1960 \u2013 1995\u201d starting May 18, 2024, at the museum on Saarbr\u00fccken\u2019s Schlossplatz. The exhibition showcases groundbreaking works from the early history of American and European street art and graffiti, with a focus on early illegal pieces. Combining a historical perspective with a visually stunning and immersive presentation, the exhibition by the Saar Historical Museum is the first of its kind worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Key works and rare pieces never before displayed, created illegally \u2013 without permission and without commercial intent for an audience on the streets \u2013 will be featured. The selection of 120 artists from over a dozen countries is the result of extensive and meticulous research. These works were never intended for a museum and, with few exceptions, have not been preserved in their original form.
