With this mindset, SKERO invites you to a new exhibition at his own gallery, Boutique Romana<\/em>. Under the title \u201cKOPFKINO\u201d<\/strong> (\u201cCinema of the Mind\u201d), the artist, musician, and gallerist presents new works that focus on the human face \u2013 deconstructed, reduced, and reassembled.<\/p>\n

Even before his rap career, SKERO was immersed in the world of images. His roots in graffiti, his training as a graphic designer, and his painting studies with Daniel Richter (completed in 2012) continue to shape his approach to art today. The spray can is more than a relic from earlier days \u2013 it remains his favorite tool. \u201cI still feel most comfortable with the can,\u201d says SKERO.<\/p>\n

In \u201cKOPFKINO\u201d<\/strong>, this technique meets his engagement with Cubism \u2013 a movement without a manifesto, but full of possibilities. \u201cI wanted to explore that path and find my own way,\u201d SKERO explains. The resulting works almost entirely dispense with outlines. Instead, he works with surfaces, gradients, and colors, creating a graphic, almost illustrative effect. It\u2019s this subtle visual \u201ctipping point\u201d that challenges the eye and sets the imagination free.<\/p>\n

The portraits depict heads that merge multiple perspectives, fuse viewpoints, and capture the moment when the image continues to unfold in the viewer\u2019s mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe I\u2019m still at the beginning of my artistic development,\u201d SKERO says with self-reflection. \u201cBut just like in music, painting is about rhythm, tone, repetition \u2013 and about finding a compact form.\u201d<\/p>\n
