Under the title <strong data-start=\"262\" data-end=\"276\">\u201cKOPFKINO\u201d<\/strong> (\u201cCinema of the Mind\u201d), the artist, musician, and gallerist presents new works that focus on the human face \u2013 deconstructed, reduced, and reassembled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"429\" data-end=\"811\">Even before his rap career, SKERO was immersed in the world of images. His roots in graffiti, his training as a graphic designer, and his painting studies with Daniel Richter (completed in 2012) continue to shape his approach to art today. The spray can is more than a relic from earlier days \u2013 it remains his favorite tool. \u201cI still feel most comfortable with the can,\u201d says SKERO.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"813\" data-end=\"1268\">In <strong data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"830\">\u201cKOPFKINO\u201d<\/strong>, this technique meets his engagement with Cubism \u2013 a movement without a manifesto, but full of possibilities. \u201cI wanted to explore that path and find my own way,\u201d SKERO explains. The resulting works almost entirely dispense with outlines. Instead, he works with surfaces, gradients, and colors, creating a graphic, almost illustrative effect.
