\nYou prefer to ride freight trains, breathing brake dust in the slipstream, never fully knowing where the journey leads \u2013 only the rough direction is predictable.
\nHere, the ride itself is the destination, and adventure is guaranteed at every stage.
\nA young generation of \u201cfreighthoppers\u201d uses the new European freight corridors to travel across the continent.
\nWith film, photography, and drawings, they document their experiences \u2013 and publish them both digitally and in print.<\/p>\n

The installation Res Publica Intermodal<\/strong> by the collective Complesso Iva Melhor (EU)<\/em> explores this travel culture of the \u201cnew hobos\u201d.
\nPublications, wasteland brunches, and conversations invite visitors to dive deeper into the subject.
\nThe program is complemented by works of international freight-train painters.<\/p>\n
