Hall of Fame Tumblingerstraße & Bahnwärter Thiel, Munich

, by Bart Van Kersavond

The old Viehhof grounds in Munich have been a popular meeting place for Graffiti Writers since a long time. Next to the Hall of Fame Tumblingerstrasse there is – in an impressive container castle – the cultural site “Bahnwärter Thiel”, where painting is also allowed. A few discarded subway wagons are also included, which are used as a canteen or working spaces.

Not to be overlooked are the many construction cranes all around, which indicate that this place is in a state of upheaval and will certainly have to give way completely in a few years.
